Smart Manufacturing X Carbon Reduction Sustainability X Passive Components: Collaborative Industry Transformation and Upgrading

To assist the Taiwan passive components industry in enhancing its competitiveness in smart manufacturing and achieving net-zero carbon emissions, TPCIA conducted visits on March 30, 2023, to international manufacturer in Taiwan, such as AU Optronics, which have expertise in smart manufacturing and energy-saving sustainability. TPCIA drew inspiration from their experiences to help Taiwan's passive components industry transition towards net-zero carbon emissions and smart sustainability. Additionally, visits were made to passive component manufacturers, including Max Echo Technology, to promote cooperation opportunities throughout the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the industry.

AU Optronics, a professional panel manufacturer, has developed technologies such as smart machinery, smart manufacturing, digital transformation, low-carbon solutions, and water recycling from its own factory's perspective. It has also spun off related subsidiaries (AUO Digital and AUO Yipei Sustainable) to provide the industry with more services, including "smart manufacturing," "energy management," "net-zero carbon emissions," and "water recycling."

Max Echo Technology: Professional Manufacturer of Chip Inductors, with in-house research and manufacturing capabilities in magnetic materials, alloy materials, and ceramic materials. It combines self-developed and designed high-precision thick-film printing processes.
