Introduction |
Tai-Saw Tech., based in Taiwan, was established in November 1997. Its main products are Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices, including RF SAW filters, IF SAW filters, and SAW resonators, as well as Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) quartz components, including quartz oscillators, quartz filters, quartz crystal oscillators, voltage-controlled quartz oscillators, and quartz temperature-compensated oscillators, along with related modules. These products find applications in satellite digital broadcasting, mobile phones and base stations, wireless local area networks, satellite positioning, wireless Bluetooth, automotive remote controls, and tire pressure sensors, among other consumer electronics. The management team of Tai-Saw Tech. encompasses individuals with rich experience in communication component design and practical knowledge, including former employees from Motorola's communication component division and other well-known domestic technology industries. Recognizing the over-reliance on imported frequency components and the lack of self-sufficiency in Taiwan, which led to the dilemma of major communication component dependency on foreign manufacturers and limited long-term competitiveness, the founders established Tai-Saw Tech. to provide Taiwan-made mid-to-high-frequency surface acoustic wave frequency components. In June 2001, the company expanded its product offerings to include bulk acoustic wave quartz components. In 2009, Tai-Saw Tech. invested in TFE (Wu-Xi) to enhance its OCXO (oven-controlled crystal oscillator) product line, aiming to provide comprehensive solutions for communication products and become the preferred partner for customers in frequency component solutions. |
